Vienna, Austria: the annual Schönbrunn Winter Market on a perfect snowy advent night!
Most photography is not from this year (it is so warm here, it might as well be spring!), but from 2010.
This was the most beautiful I have ever seen this market; the snowy weather really added to the Christmas feeling:
The beautifully illuminated entrance to castle Schönbrunn and market place.
And of course a huge Christmas tree where people sing carols underneath.
People warming up and chatting under heated steel umbrellas.
